Every part of our church family plays a vital role in fulfilling our mission.
Meet the dedicated teams and departments that serve, lead, and make a difference in our community, working together to bring glory to God.
Gapstanders Team (Fountains)
Fountains is our weekly intercessory prayer time for the church. The leader of this ministry will build and lead a team of trained intercessors to pray for the church, its members, and the needs of the community.
Guest Services Team
Guest Services is our hospitality ministry, focused on creating a welcoming and seamless worship experience. The leader will oversee a team of ushers, greeters, and protocol officers who assist guests, help them find seats, facilitate offerings, and maintain a distraction-free environment.
Growth Track Team
The Growth Track Team follows up with first-time guests, guiding them to take their next steps in the church, whether that’s joining a group, attending Growth Track, or getting baptized. The leader will ensure the Pastor and First Lady connect with each guest, gather contact information, and help schedule baptisms and Growth Track classes.
Vessels Worship Team
The Vessels Worship Team prepares the atmosphere for worship through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering. This team includes praise and worship singers, musicians, and production/sound engineers, all focused on creating an environment where guests can encounter God’s presence.
Creative and Production Team
The Creative Team brings vision to life through visuals, videos, and social media. This team manages all in-service images, recap videos, promo videos, and digital content. Creative roles include: Social Media Management, YouTube Channel, Website Management, Photography & Videography, Graphic Design
Vessels Kids
The Vessels Kids leader will build our children’s ministry, creating a fun and engaging environment where kids learn about the love of Jesus. This team invests in children’s lives through worship, videos, connect groups, games, and other activities, ensuring that kids leave excited to return each week.
Events Team
The Events Team is responsible for planning and organizing major conferences, such as the Vessels Conference and the Crown and Overflow Women's Retreat. The team leader will manage the calendar of events for the year and recruit volunteers to support these initiatives.
Communications and Administrative Team
This team ensures smooth operations by using their administrative skills to help people get connected to the church. The leader will oversee communications, scheduling, and organizational tasks to ensure everything runs efficiently.
Outreach Team
The Outreach Team focuses on evangelism and community service. The team leader will coordinate monthly evangelism events, providing opportunities to bless others and share the love of Christ in tangible ways.
Stewardship Team
The Stewardship Team helps manage the financial resources of Vessels Center, aligning them with the church’s vision. The leader will oversee giving, tithing, and budgeting, ensuring that resources are well-managed to support the ministry.

Join a Small Group
Celebrate God’s faithfulness with us! Read and share inspiring stories of transformation, healing, and answered prayers in our community.
Women's Group
Join our women for a wonderful time of fellowship, prayer, learning, and growth. We meet every Monday to pray for ourselves and intercede for our families. Additionally, we host regular Women at the Altar prayer times, Zoom Leadership Masterclass sessions, Saturday Night Live discussions, and our annual Crown & Overflow Women's Retreat. We also have the Royal Ladies Camp Meeting, which is held biennially.
Men's Group
The men meet regularly for fellowship and prayer. Join our men's fellowship as we pray together and participate in various social activities.
Campus Connect
Join our Royalhouse DC Student Campus Ministry, where we host Bible study discussions and provide transportation for students in the DMV area to join us for services and various events.
Prayer Requests
